Things I'm working on: Projects/ side hustle
prerna bhatia
Steph Ching
I'm a documentary filmmaker/editor based in Brooklyn. A lot of my projects have a social impact/cultural identity focus and I strive for empathetic, responsible storytelling. Apart from work I enjoy yoga, nature, reading, all the Netflix/Hulu shows, and spending time (now virtually) with loved ones.
Things I'm working on: Developing a couple personal documentary projects (though a lot has to be adjusted given the state of things,) relearning how to play piano, broadening my culinary skills, and trying to stay employed with freelance work.
Kirsten DeHaven @kirstendehaven
I'm a Yoga Teacher and Teacher Trainer with a love for people, animals, and plants.
Things I’m working on: Video editing, putting some passion project ideas into motion, content creation.
Tenijah Hamilton
As someone who is on the more extrovert end of introversion, I really miss cultivating relationships and I think I'm good at it. I'm generally a good networker. My work is as much about building inroads with folks as much as it is about what's on paper.
Things I’m working on: Oooh, a mix of my regular job which is essentially planning for the scale up of a national program, but also writing! I would love to work on a side project script.
rosa jean vt
I am a hard working, passionate person. I love people! I would consider myself an ambivert because I am not always talkative, but people’s energy fuels me. I love to dance! I love to travel! I love food! And coffee!
Things I’m working on: I am an administrative assistant at an investment banking firm. This is not my dream job, but I am learning a lot of transferable skills. My passion lies in health education, supporting people. I would like to one day work with minority populations, helping people access healthcare resources.

I'm a master's candidate at NYU|Gallatin. My coursework is finished, I will defend my thesis in January, 21. My work centers on hope in the face of hopelessness, and draws on political & social philosophy, anthropology, psychology, and migration studies. The working question for my research is, "Can hope as a method of knowledge formation be used to transform despair into hope without altering the hopeless reality?"
My preconception is that much humanitarian aide is fraudulent, in the sense that it merely perpetuates suffering by allowing donors to be self-satisfied without addressing the root causes of hopelessness. I see no evidence of the universal perfectibility of the human spirit - meaning hundreds of millions of our fellows become expendable--there is no room for them at the table.
I spend my non-desk time in my garden--flowers and vegetables. My husband is a fine artist, known nationally for his portraits and floral still lives. Chris is also a serious pianist who spends part of every day in practice. We live simply--our house is a 1790s log cabin, last remodeled in 1929--with a bit of a retouch to the kitchen 10 years ago.We heat and cook during the winter on an old wood stove.
Things I’m working on: I am working on the conceptual framework for my thesis, with the very good direction of my advisor who is at Princeton, and a friend who is a professor of critical theory at NYU.
Delilah Kwong
Yogi, native New Yorker, wanderer by nature, passionate about food integrity and sustainability, lover of summer, and forever a learner. My interests span varying areas within the health and wellness field - movement, nutrition, skincare, to name a few. From 9 to 5+, I work in the banking industry.
Things I’m working on: Explore the next steps to bring my career to, while honing my leadership and project management skills. Build my life to be closer to my vision of an ideal life.
Sophia Marie Lee
I’m an author of children’s and young adult stories, dreaming of sharing more stories from the Philippines, where I was born and raised, to children and young readers all over the world.
Things I’m working on: Working on several manuscripts - specifically, a children’s picture book and a middle grade novel, both set in the Philippines.

For my dayjob, I work for a professional association for nurses. As you can imagine, it can be pretty hectic right now. We've done a lot of pivoting to support our members in new and innovative ways so they can meet this challenge head on as frontline healthcare workers. But I'm also juggling different jobs--I'm an author as well, and I have several projects in development right now. So before and after my dayjob, and frequently on my lunch breaks, I'm doing my author job. I also freelance edit other people's manuscripts, and so that takes time too. I love what I do, but it was challenging to juggle *before* this current crisis. It's definitely not gotten easier! My interests are books (predictable) and cats (I have 3 + a semi-feral foster) and politics. And figuring out what I panic-ordered in the middle of the night three weeks ago when I get a shipment notification on my phone ;)
Things I’m working on: I love my dayjob, but gosh is it a lot right now! I really would like to be developing my online presence as an author a lot more, and really refining it. I feel like I have a lot to share and could share in new and interesting ways if I could focus and find the time. I'm also really excited about a bunch of potential author projects, but my excitement sometimes overwhelms me and keeps me from focusing! I want to be finding time to bringing some relief to other people too and guiding them through being creatives in this unique time and situation.

I'm an author who primarily writes novels, occasionally short stories. In my free time I love making and listening to music, practicing and teaching yoga, absorbing and creating art. I'm passionate about bats, herbalism, the practice of rewilding, crystals, Tarot...and books, of course!
Things I'm working on: I am (cue nervous laughter) on deadline for a book which I am (extremely) late on sending to my editor (like just about every other author, lolsob). And I'm in the beginning phases of a couple other projects.
Sukhdeep Rathore
I'm a full time graduate student living in Philly, and I've been training for the past 3 years to enter the profession of nurse anesthesia (an exciting/humbling science and art)! Outside of healthcare, I'm very interested in the arts & yoga, and I hope to spend more time on these passions once I'm settled into my CRNA career.
Things I'm working on: I just finished up my last semester's requirements (yay!), and I want to shift gears and become productive about studying for my next and biggest hurdle, my profession's certification exam, aka "boards."
Ikaika Regidor @ikaikaspace
I work as a Senior Youth Programs Director at the Nu'uanu YMCA. It's the largest YMCA on the island, which is both a blessing and also comes with its own sets of challenges. In this role, I oversee all youth programs offered by my YMCA branch (typically from preschool through teens), which currently in this climate involves child care for essential service personnel. Although I'd love to work from my office, I am unfortunately asthmatic so I'm working from my home in an effort to keep my distance.
My interests include food, drinks, yoga, mindfulness activities, politics, and Hawaiian culture (I live in Hawai'i and am also native Hawaiian).
Things I’m working on: My regular job (remote currently, and often with check ins and meetings with partners and coworkers about the work.

I'm definitely an extrovert, so excited to learn new ways to build community while WFH.

Candace Tabbs @i_candace & @candacet_fitness
I support the visions of others by creating spaces for them to actualize their potential and passion. To accomplish this I lead movement classes that strengthen the body and mind and support writers in their creative process. I am also a movement-based performing artist whose work explores healing space and release.
